Designing a new website can be extremely difficult, even if you have some experience or training. Luckily, platforms like WordPress can help you streamline the web design process, especially when you know how to use them.
Setting up a new WordPress website doesn’t have to be too hard if you’re willing to spend a bit of time getting familiar with its design interface and the tools available to you. With this in mind, I decided to put this article together to help you come up with a plan to create your own site.
Step 1: Choose a Hosting Provider
Choosing a web hosting provider is the first thing you need to do when you’re building a WordPress website. There are numerous providers out there – including industry leading names such as HostGator and GoDaddy – but it’s important to do your research to make sure that you find a host that’s suited to your needs and budget.
Step 2: Set Up Your Website
Once you’ve chosen a hosting provider and registered your site, you need to install WordPress to your hosting servers, choose a domain name, and connect it to the WordPress interface. Luckily, most web hosts will guide you through this process, so I won’t go into it in too much detail.
