This is the sixth Global Sales Office for BHR and is part of the strategy to expand businesses and brand’s customer relationships across key source markets. The engagement of this office marks the start of the sales and marketing efforts of BHR in China, particularly Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, in line with the brand’s new business framework and focus.

This new office will give the opportunity to promote Berjaya Hotels & Resorts to the Northern Asian region’s travellers and to identify new business opportunities in this important source market.

With more than 80 years of combined experience in Australia and Asia Pacific region, Randall Marketing employs a specialised team of high profile dedicated professionals in the area of management, marketing, advertising, sales, public relations, business development, procurement, operations, strategy and other industry specific skills. The Hong Kong Office is headed by Eric Lee as Director of Sales & Customer Service; while the Shanghai office is led by Margaret Soh, Country Manager for China. Both offices will manage the development and execution of a strategic sales plan; oversee the management of global corporate accounts in North Asia and the expansion of the corporate and leisure segments while building win-win relationships with key business partners.

“Berjaya Hotels & Resorts are actively expanding with China being an important source market. The Global Sales Office in North Asia has a significant role in showcasing the unique proposition offered by our brand and creating reasons for travellers to stay at our hotels and resorts. Shanghai and Hong Kong are a natural choice for our sales operations in North Asia as they are international business gateways and key centers of commerce in the region. Like our other offices around the world, the new sales office will allow us to better support global customers at a local level and extend our reach into critical markets,” said Mondi Mecja, Acting Head – Sales & Marketing, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts.
