The Expedia Insiders Select is a list of top 1% hotels and resorts in the world, out of more than 70,000 hotels offered by Expedia.com. Chosen by hotel experts and Expedia customers based on various factors and largely based on travellers reviews on the Expedia website, it therefore bears testimony to the Marina Mandarin Singapore's service excellence.
Leading HR Practice (Special Mention) Award 2009 Conferred by the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), the award recognises organisations that have achieved effectiveness in Human Resources and people management practices. This year, a record-breaking total of 211 entries were received from 44 organizations, vying for the much-coveted awards in the 21 HR award categories. The 3-month assessment period consisted of paper assessments, interviews and judges evaluation sessions to critically assess all applicants and sieve out the cream of the crop in the HR fraternity.
On achieving the two accolades, General Manager of Marina Mandarin, Mr Richard L. Dusome, commented 'It is a great honour for us to be recognized by two very established organizations on our efforts. I see a co-relation between the two accolades, when we take care of our staff, our guests are taken care of as well'.
