Night Safari

At the Night Safari, you can look a rhinoceros in the eye, hear the howls of a pack of striped hyenas or watch giraffes glide serenely across the plain in the still of the night.

This premier Night zoo houses over 900 animals of 135 exotic species in eight zones re-created to simulate geographic zones like the Southeast Asian rainforest, African savanna, Nepalese river valley, South American pampas and Burmese jungle. Strike out on your own along the walking trail or relax in a tram ride - whichever you choose, NightSafari is a wild adventure not to be missed.

Through the use of subtle lighting technique, visitors are able to view over 1,000 nocturnal animals of 100 species in vast naturalistic habitats. With the Night Safari being so special, Singapore Night Safari is open for 5 hours every night. Singapore Night Safari is covered in two stretches. One stretch includes the walking trail and the other the tram rides.

There are four Walking Trails in the Singapore Night Safari. The Fishing Cat Trail houses fishing cats, barking deer and gharials. The Tiger Trail houses leopards, Loris, tarsiers and owls. The third and the best trail is the Mangrove Trail where one can have the experience to see various types of flying bats. The Forest Giants Trail is walking through the rainforests where one can spot fling lemurs, bats and snakes. The Singapore Night Safari concludes with the enchanting Animal Show.
